In a field with a large showing of Mono red and Jund, Followed by a lesser appearance of various control decks what do you think is the best deck? _________________ -Chainer

Am I to assume you are looking at playing in Regionals?
Jund, Polymorph, Conscription, some form of UW control, Mythic and Boss Naya are your biggest contenders.
Right now you are burning, playing jund, or playing to beat them.
Check out this HOT mono White list...
4 Emeria, the Sky Ruin
20 Plains
2 Iona, Shield of Emeria
3 Kor Cartographer
4 Kor Skyfisher
4 Lone Missionary
3 Pilgrim's Eye
4 Wall of Omens
4 Day of Judgment
2 Expedition Map
2 Martial Coup
4 Oblivion Ring
4 Path to Exile
Sideboard
2 Celestial Purge
3 Devout Lightcaster
1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
4 Kor Firewalker
3 Luminarch Ascension
2 Marshal's Anthem
Control would have a field day against this, but you would cater your board or tweak the maindeck to have a better shot against them.
Lone Missionary, bounce him to hand, cast him again with Kor Skyfisher? HOT.
Lone Missionary, blockes a Putrid Leech, making a 6 point life swing? HOT. |

I showcased a mono-green that that pwnd jund last FNM. It hasn't lost yet. I also obliterated an elf-deck, a mono-red, and UW control.
yay to us oldies from the good old days where we had to learn deck building skills instead of being at the mercy of other buildies, and then 90%+ ppl play same decks, lol.
I also am finishing up touches on a mono-black that will be very hard to beat.
It's about 50/50 vs my mono-green. Both decks are very fast and nasty.
